Stream on.. Thank you Aepod . I want to zone out and watch/listen. Did your own voice remain as the only voice that didn't come through, as Eddyall found in the pre-game test? Here is a theme song remade for us, if you can recognize this Aerosmith cover, Yeah, stream with me, stream for the year Stream for the laughter, stream for the tears Stream with me, just for today Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away Stream on Stream on Stream on Stream until your dreams come true Schedule attendance updates: This is all fine. This is life. When someone needs to miss D&D, we just play on with those who can play that day, and look to hear from our other PC's next session. -- Hans checked in, saying he had to miss this week and last. He hopes to be back to play next Monday. Thanks Hans, look forward to playing D&D with you again soon. Friar Hugo has remained present in the party as a background character and we had him take a few actions so Hugo will get half-XP for the 2 sessions. 2 weeks back Hugo encountered and dialoged with Yuki-Onna the spirit of freezing death, on Hugo's watch shift in the night. This recent session Hugo approached 2 strangers laying in the snow, one was dead and the other was an elf cleric named LifeGiver who was expending her last healing spell to raise her Fighter companion to stable (0 HP). Hugo came along at the right time to cast another Healing spell that brought the fighter to 6HP and got him on his feet to avoid frostbite. -- Chris is in a transition that's taking longer, he was able to drop in Discord and listen to part of our recent session. Chris hopes to return to gaming in a few weeks from now and will let us know. Wei-Ting was also used in the game session, he talked to a Xaren (relative of the famous D&D monster called a Xorn if you want to look it up). The party opted to feed the Alkarg spear to the Xaren, which melted the magic spear into a liquid slurry and it drank the slurry sending it to the elemental plane of Earth, away from the Prime Material Plane of homebrew world. -- Anyone heard from Paul ? Reaching out to him, really miss this guy, he's been absent the last couple sessions. We kept the PC Rajhad in the background, it hid in the wagon or went off looting on its own. P.S. Silk voiced the Hill Giant Norrik In case anyone missed this fact --- that was our very own RainbowSilks who voiced the sort-of cockney Hill Giant named Norrik and its wintery-wolf companion, in the recent game session! We thought that would be a nice surprise, having a Player give voice to an NPC/monster. Did you love that? As DM, I was highly entertained. NOTE: (Especially to the attention of SolidHybrid ). Norrik's clues about the Steading Of The Hill Giant ... was actually a side-story and red herring, more than a lead, for you. Those famous modules ("Against The Giants" G1, G2, G3) are happening in the homebrew world, some 300+ miles to the East, as Norrik revealed. There is a swelling and gathering of Giants who are building up forts and connecting with other evil powers. It is not intended that the current party undertake this adventure hook. Not anytime soon, in fact not even in this campaign trajectory at all unless you strongly want to go. You can go there but it's not expected. DM is trying to present the fact that there are OTHER adventuring parties in the world, doing other adventures at the same time as you. Some other party can go and face off Against The Giants. Some of our Players have played through those before. The contest is for us to have the best, most epic and heroic adventuring party of all. We'll probably play different adventures I have in-mind to offer on the same level & scale as Against The Giants.
