In my Vampire campaign I have noticed that sometimes the players do not RP correctly when they know they failed or botched a die roll. Is there a way to make certain die rolls visible only to the GM?  Thanks

Either the GM needs to roll them in private or you have to use an API script.  I believe  !broll  or powercards(--whisper| tag) are your best options.
