Looking for more players in Oceania time zones (GMT +10)

I'd be keen Dan, but I can't make Wednesdays. I ran Eclipse Phase for the first time at Conformat in Adelaide, and as is often the case with con games I was working on it right up until the week before the con. It went pretty well and I really enjoyed it (as did the players) but sadly I think it's not really up the alley of my current group so I've not started a campaign (sadface). Much as I'm a little out of love with roll20 at the moment (continual technical problems killed my campaign) I'd be happy to run it on here if I could get three or four players.

Cool, Tuesdays should be okay. I'll just have to run it by my wife before I make it definite. Should be fine. I know you hate Googs :P, but Google Hangouts is heaps more stable than Roll20's tokbox app. If you do start something with EP, I'll definitely try and make it. Even just if you feel like running a play test sometime... I'm interested in the setting. Transhuman future sounds pretty cool, and I've been getting into Nova Praxis, which is a FATE driven version of a Tranhuman Sci-fi future. It's pretty interesting stuff.
It's not that I hate google, I just think their unified privacy policy is mega sketchy and I don't want them to be able to tie all that stuff to my social networking. Still, damage is done now, I'm sure if I don't use my G+ for anything other than this it can't do any harm. Yeah, I'd be happy to write/run some Eclipse phase on here if a stable group develops. I'll look at Nova praxis too - you've not steered me wrong yet.
Anyone in GMT+10 interested in Dogs in the Vineyard?
Hey im from Aus as well, would love to get to know some more aussie rpg'ers mostly i like DnD 4e (tho i have the phb for 3.5), Shadowrun, VtM and WtA, so msg me if you have any games going and need another player or just talk about various games

Hi Jessica, we've got a Dungeon World game up and running at the moment. It looks to be full at the moment, but if we have any room free up you could join in if you are interested. Josh, I'd be very interested in DitV. Written by Vincent Baker isn't it? (He wrote Apocalypse World - the pre-cursor to Dungeon World).
Welcome Jessica. Yeah, that's the one Dan, though I've not played ApocalypseWorld at all.
Hey, I’m new to roll20 but I have a little experience with D&D as a playing character. Looking for a Friday/Saturday night game maybe once every two weeks. Willing to learn new RPG's too.
Im playing out of china right now, and looking for pretty much any evenings, preferably at least once a week. Im interested in pathfinder, but ill look into possibilities of 4ed or any other system
does anyone in aussie time zones wanna get a game of shadowrun going?
Hey Yeti and Toast. Which edition of Shadowrun are you thinking Jess? I've played a lot of 1st-3rd and could probably run a 3rd Ed game, I've not really played 4th so I could probably play (but not run) that. I'm thinking I'm going to try and run another roll20 game in the new year (maybe first or second week in January) but I'm not really a D&D GM. My short list of games to run (off the top of my head) is something like: Dogs in the Vineyard, Mouseguard, Technoir, Eclipse Phase or something. I could probably be pretty easily persuaded to facilitate a single session indie GMless game (Fiasco, Durance, A taste for murder, our last best hope etc) as a mixer if people are keen.
not australian.. but if you plan it late enough on your day (say 6-7pm) i can join most of the time i'm kind of interested in eclipse phase and dogs of the vineyard
well i only have the materials for 4th ed
Awesome, i am keen for a bit of anything to break my six month RPG dry spell. Prefer D&D because its what i am used to but if you don't mind questions and teaching ill play anything. Might also be able to get my girlfriend to play if we need numbers.
Hey Ravenshade, Jess: I've got the 4th Edition books so I'd be happy to play Shadowrun 4th but I wouldn't run it. Yeti: Happy to play D&D if you want to run it. Otherwise I'll write a short list and take votes on what people are keen to play. Whatever it is I'll run a beginner's session.
eh i'll see at what time that guy will be planning his shadowrunning
"Yeti: Happy to play D&D if you want to run it" Nah, I’m defiantly not DM/GM material and I haven’t played on Roll20 yet so I would be walking into the unknown as far as making maps and running campaigns goes. I’m 100% happy to play anything that’s going. :D
hey Josh, as ive never actually played shadowrun i would not be a good choice to GM a game, but would love to play
Jess: If you can stretch to playing 3rd I'd be happy to run something (be pretty easy to put together a player's pack). Otherwise Technoir is pretty similar to Shadowrun in terms of theme and mood (Noiry cyberpunk) although it doesn't have any magic or metas.
if the time is right for me i don't care (never played either)
Hi All, I have been contemplating running a Pathfinder AP (I own most of them - but never run anything PF), but I was thinking an unusual time. I would have to be considered a newbie PF GM, though I did a bit of 3.5 in the day but I have been playing D&D 4E. I would also have to consider myself a newbie Roll20 GM as well as I have not run anything through it. I am GMT+8 (Perth) but was thinking maybe a Sunday morning (6-7am) for 3-4 hours. I have young children and my nights are pretty full. For those at +10 this would be at around 9am, 10am AEDT. What are peoples thoughts? I could POTENTIALLY be convinced to move it to a week night, but I already take up Friday nights and it wouldnt be able to start until at least 8pm AWST (GMT+8). As for voice etc I really like Google+ Hangouts Shane
Hi Shane I'd be interested in playing if you get the players. Also: with regards to the game that I mentioned running above I think I might have found a group to play with in person so I'm going to focus on getting a game up and running there at the moment, if that falls through or once it's up and stable I might try and run here instead or as well. Either way the January timetable I mentioned will be delayed.
I would be interested in the game, Shane! Any thoughts on which of the APs you might run?
Been working with some old friends from Melbourne on this. I am looking at running Shattered Star
Josh and Hailey could you PM me your email contact so that I can invite you both to the Obsidian Portal campaign
Hey Shane, just joined the OP page and such, going to work on a character soon enough. Not sure what yet, need to read the player's guide first. Is the first game going to be this Sunday morning or later? Btw, where should we discuss things about the campaign from now on?
Done
Hailey and Josh. The obsidian portal is where the discussion is happening for the campaign. I am not yet an Ascendant member, but it is looking likely. We are using the wiki for discussions right at the moment.
Hey Shane, were you sending me an invite? I've not received anything?
I would also like to play Shane, in a few weeks ill be moved into my new house and should have Sunday mornings free :) Im new to Roll20 and to PF but i pick up things pretty quick. John, Tasmania
Hi there, is the campaign still accepting players?
Hey All. I filled the campaign up unfortunately (have 6 pathfinders playing and have already had to up the CR for the encounters :)) I -might- be convinced to run something on Saturday mornings at the same time as the time is a good one for me (6:00am - 9:00 am local, 9:00am - 12:00pm eastern coast time), if we can get enough players. Depending on the mood of the group going another hour is always possible. Depending on the portion of the adventure we have been getting through 3-4 encounters in that 3 hour period on the Sunday. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Just to bump this to the top of the LFG forum. I am interested in being a player for anything of an evening as well (though I am on WST @GMT+8)
Hey there, another eastern timezone GMT +10 player here looking for a pathfinder group for weekends.

Hey guys, I'd be up for some games in GMT+10.  I'm happy to run some games too. Looking mostly at running FATE stuff (FateCore, Nova Praxis, Age of Arthur, or homegrown) or *World stuff (Apocalypse*, Dungeon*, Mosterhearts, etc). I'd really like to give Fate Accelerated Edition a try for a one shot sometime. Any other backers out there? Hello, Josh :)

Newbie living in Tassie (GMT +10), keen to get into my first game. I have the core books for D&D 4e and also for Pathfinder. Would prefer to get a game of 4e but willing to play Pathfinder as an alternative.
Hey all, I am fairly new to tabletop games (played 3 games in 2 campaigns of DnD next) and I am really keen to get into a scheduled weekly/fortnightly DnD game. I live in SA and can be available friday 6pm to tuesday 9pm ACST (GMT+9:30).
