Welcome Calixtus.
Hopefully we can get some games that interest you going on here in the near future.
What's happening with Dungeon World Dan? You going ahead this evening?
Heyo, I should be available, either this evening or Friday evening, if we want to do something. I doubt I could run something tonight (Wednesday), but I could run something (Danger Patrol, Fiasco, In a Wicked Age, etc) on Friday if no one else wants to.
Hi guys,
I might give tonight a miss as I still need to catch up on some sleep!
Balladeer, I'd be keen to play something on Friday night. I'm not familiar with Danger Patrol or In a Wicked Age, but I'd be very happy to try some new stuff.
Hi Cal, nice to meet you and welcome.
I know none of those games Zach, happy to play any (or maybe all, wait, no, all would be damaging) Friday if people are keen, though FIasco is the only one I have played, and that only once.
So, how about Danger Patrol on Friday at 6:30 UTC+8 ? You're welcome to get the book here, if you'd like, but don't worry about it. There's ~basically~ one mechanic, and character creation is really easy.
Hey im in Newcastle NSW. im keen for Friday evening games running. If anyone is able to run a All Flesh Must Be Eaten one shot, that would be pretty sweet, really wanted to play that with some experienced players.
Else im keen to give anything a go at least once :D
Heyo Bill, welcome. I'll have to see if I own All Flesh Must Be Eaten; I don't remember if it's in my collection or not. If so, I will consider running it while I'll still in this timezone.
Hey Bill, welcome.
Fiasco was excellent Zach, had a really good time with it and I can only imagine that next run through will be even better. We were playing with five players and I can see what you said about numbers, it would probably run faster and better with four.
I'll be going out for a drink with the work colleagues after work but I should be home well and truly by 8:30 (GMT+10) so I'm in for Danger Patrol. Where's the Danger Patrol book so I can read up before?
Hi guys, someone (Josh?) sent me a PM last week directing me to this thread, and then I totally forgot about it. :) Would be interested in getting involved with some local timezone gaming for sure.
I'm in Newcastle, Australia area as well. Funny coincidence.
Heya Hailey, welcome. I've got a game planned for this evening, if you want to play. See a few posts above for information.
Josh, yeah, that seems to be the case.
Ha Skimmed through Danger Patrol looks pretty awesome, Unfortunately i have friends coming in from Melbourne and cant get online tonight.
Hailey, we will be running a Pathfinder one shot in person/paper-n-pen session this Sunday. if you are interested I can see about fitting you in?
No worries Bill, have fun with your friends :)
Dan, if you can find someone from your f2f group, that works, but I'm perfectly happy to run Danger Patrol with only a few players. It's not the type of game that requires a large party to work well.
Can't make it tonight, gotta finish up a uni assignment and some other work tonight before Guild Wars 2 launches tomorrow arvo and I get distracted by that :D Hope you guys enjoy it!
Bill, I probably can't make this Sunday but if you're running something another time I'd love to get involved.
I'd like to learn to play Pathfinder, especially a longer story arc, but anything is good. Played several 3.5 campaigns and from what I understand about Pathfinder I would enjoy it.
I haven't played pathfinder, but I have played DnD3.0 many years ago, so I'd definitely be interested in playing.
Josh, as we talked about Friday night, I'm going to pick up 13th Age once it is out of prerelease edition. So for anyone who is interested I will run a game or two of that one day soon.
Yeah, 13th Age looked interesting.
They were talking about sending out a pre release PDF in the latest update so I was thinking I might make a pledge and then if it's not my thing on further review I can cancel it before the kickstarter ends.
Also: have you got a setting in mind? Or are you planning on using the default Pathfinder one?
I might play a Cleric (can we please use purchase for generating attributes)
ohh oops forgot when :P I am free monday and friday nights at the moment one of my other games might be moving to monday night soon which would then leave wednesday night open.
I'm tied up Wednesday nights, free all other week nights.
Although a friend of mine is having a birthday dinner this Friday so I won't be free until later.
Weeknights are good for me. I have random evening commitments, so I will likely miss a here, but overall I should be able to make most evening meetings.
So when is the first chat? Also what programs will we be using? Will need to get my computer all setup.
Just some background info, in past 3.5 campaigns I've played Clerics, Rogues and Monks most often, in that order. I'll pretty much take anything though at this point, lol.
Wednesday and Friday nights are good for me, with Fridays occasionally being subjected to random social events - but I could make Fridays most of the time.
I have had limited voice/video chat success using roll20 but i suspect that has been other people whom use linux and have troubles with flash. I guess we can give it a go on roll20 and have skype waiting as a backup. But im flexible, got something better I will comply. also, add me to facebook maybe?
So friday sounds like common ground? my facebook is ross matton-johnson, pretty sure there is only one of me, feel free to add me just add a note that you're from roll20
I will run every Friday cept last Friday of the month. if you are keen to get into it, go to https://app.roll20.net/join/33819/Cn0SKQ Friday at 1900AEST, and we can do some character and world building.
Hi guys. Any interest in a mid-week Dungeon World game? I'm planning on running a DW conversion of Ravenloft (the original classic module) over a few Tuesday or Wednesday nights. It might take 4 or 5 sessions to finish, or maybe shorter - I'm going to try and run it at a decent pace.
Josh - how's Eclipse Phase going? Did you run it at that con? I'm still interested in checking it out if you're up to running something.
Here's a link to the Dungeon World Playbooks if you are interested in checking out characters. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5466035/DungeonWorld_character_sheets.pdf
