First: A group of friends wants to do the painting thing on the 26th. I'm not willing to miss three games in a row or that close in time (even if we are also playing on the 18th/19th), so I need to know if we will be playing on the 26th or not so that I can tell them we need to pick another date if we are. It's something that you need to register for ahead of time. Second: I'd imagine there's a lot about GM-ing that can apply regardless of the specific game. Of course, I could be wrong about that. That said, the reddit posted by Eric led me to a lot of resources, which will certainly be helpful. I suppose I thought it might be nice to ask questions of people I already know, but then I realize I tend to ask questions about other things with complete strangers, so why should this be different?
