[LFG] Rogue Trader or Dark Heresy, Wed/Thurs/Fri open schedule.

Trying to track down a game, simple. Preferably Rogue Trader, but I'd be willing to give Dark Heresy a shot too.  Not a lot to say here other than I've got several games under my belt. They were in text, so I'm new to voice, but I'm definitely up for trying to learn how to do that properly. I've got all the books required for RT, DH and can get DH2. (Though I admit I haven't USED DH2 yet.) Dunno what else to say, hit me up if you want.
I've got the PDFs of both editions of DH, and I've actually had a couple of character ideas for a while. I can make it anytime on Saturday, or on weekdays after about 5 PM PST. If that works, and you find a game that needs another person, feel free to yell...
I've been looking to try RT for a while now and am free Wed and Thu evenings (GMT) and i can stay up till past midnight to accomadate US time zones so yeah i'd be keen to play if the times work out.
Looks like we might be able to swing something, if we can get a gm and a few more...
I could be available Wednesday until the evenings EST. I've never really played it but could give it a try.
For the record, if we go with DH, I've got what I think could be a pretty good idea for an Imperial Guard combat medic. As for RT, it's been ages since I read the book, but I think astropaths and navigators are playable, and I could probably manage one or the other...
I admit I tend to swing guard, though I spec them more to combat, vehicular control, command and such in varying degrees. I really love playing IG. RT does have both astropaths and navigators, though I admit I have minimal knowledge of playing them. Psykers make me and my chars nervous ever since I saw one roll that "perils of the warp" that destroys them utterly without a trace. *shudder*
Hey there, What days are you thinking? What time and time zones are we talking about?

...yeah, good point. Now that I think of it, the reason I've never played a D&D wild mage is that I don't want to be the jerk who accidentally nuked the party. I suppose my Guard idea could work with either game, actually. Now we just have to hope we can find someone who knows the game well enough to run it. By the way, if we do go with DH: 1e or 2e? I think 2e looks a bit more flexible, chargen-wise...
As someone who's chargenned with both, I'd REALLY prefer 2E. It -is- much more flexible. And, frankly, Chargen is a lot faster.
Great. Yeah, it seems like building my Guard medic would be a bit more straightforward in 2e (IG background + Chirurgeon role, I think).
Yeah, it really is. The char I'd most likely play for reference is (Forge world + IG + Warrior). I played him once and had a lot of fun with him.
I'd be into DH2, i've got a room I have set up with a bunch of the charts as reference that I can offer for group use. Not sure what I would play at this point. Me and Daniel S. know each other from previous games.

I'd be interesting in playing either of those games as well.  Let me know if we can get something together.
Jose S. said: I'd be interesting in playing either of those games as well.  Let me know if we can get something together. Well, it looks like we've got quite a few people interested. Anyone in this list who likes to GM? (I would but I tend to get way obsessed with a certain path, then lock up when the PCs go left instead of right.)
Did this game ever get established?  I'd be interested in playing a Rogue Trader game if you run one.
