Text dows not get shown

I'm having a small, weird problem. For some reason or other, every piece of text I am writing using the "text" tool from the left hand menus does not appear on the map. I have been using this for months without problems and neither in my old cmapaign nor in my new one is the text visible to me. In another game I played yesterday the text the GM wrote was visible. The strange thing is: I see the text when I'm writing it and I see it again when I double click the text box to edit what I have written. But the text itself is invisible. No matter what size I use and no matter what colour or font. Having the text box on empty white space or with a background (like a map) doesn't change anyhting either. Since I haven't installed a new browser or any new add-ons since yesterday or Tuesday (the last time I was GM and where it was working), I'm at a loss at what is going on. Is it a Roll20 problem? Anybody an idea why that is?

Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. I had worked through step 1-3 since those seemed to be the obvious possibilities for me, but nothing had changed. Even more odd: I just tried it to make sure the bug is still there, and it's fixed and everything works as intended. I haven't changed anything in my browser (Add-Ons, Plugins) or the browser itself. Haven't cleared the cache again either. it just went back to working again. Not that I'm unhappy about it, but it seems really, really strange. I'd say the fault lay with my connection to the Roll20 servers, but since I had no problems putting in maps/tokens, characters and music or drawing things with all the other tools this would be a oddly specific problem.
