Female friendly Game

Hey ladies I'm Samantha Maybe this sounds awkward but I'm in this really great game that has really changed my mind about what it means to be a girl in the RPG world. I've finally come upon a gm that truly respects us girls that are playing and has made female protagonist female chars that are the hero's in this game. Something that he has done because he has a daughter and hopes to empower her through his marvel rgp game which some of the chars she had a hand at creating. There has been a problem with getting the whole group because he really wants us girls to play these female chars that he has pre made. Honestly my whole experience has been really great and he's super critical and respectful . i have enjoyed that finally i'm not some support char but one that is crucial to his story plot. we really need some more girls to play to make the story go on. I'm sorry advertise on this forum but I honestly I enjoy his game it's very role playing involved and how female friendly it is. It's super simple to learn the system. You might at first be turned off that you can't create your own char, but after i chose my char out of the three and saw how interact and how involved he got into creating this game has honestly made it extremely enjoyable. &nbsp;He also makes it entirely up to you on how you play the char. I please urge us ladies to maybe think about playing and joining. Truely i'm not lying you will have fun, the story is very creative, the people you are playing with are friendly even the male chars which just bicker amongst themselves. It's all quite amusing. So a note on these open slot chars. One is a very sorta darker char named angel who after fight in a war between mutants, demons, and gods has become very much emotionally damaged afterwards.To escape from her remembering that very bloody war she has turned to substance abuse and is constantly fighting her powers because she believes nothing but death has come from the decision to trying to be a hero. Now that destruction of the world has come swinging around again will she come to it's rescue or will it be the reminder what she hates most about being a hero. Then the other slot char is snap dragon 20 something year old Japanese girl who is apart of a very prestigious and powerful sorceress family who have trained her her whole life to defeat a great foretold evil. Does she expect this destiny her family has forced her walk on, will she use that great power within her to defeat it. Hello, I'm the GM of the game in question. I didn't know Sam was going to do this, but I'm kinda glad she did. I felt awkward about putting up a post about it myself, so I just let the listing do it's thing. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me directly. As noted, there are two pre-made female character roles I would prefer went to female gamers. This is purely because I want to promote the truth that women are just as creative and capable as guys. Female gamers get a lot of unnecessary negativity. So do female comic book fans. It's dumb. I have a daughter who's seven and loves super heroes. What's a dad to do but encourage it...

You may wish to ask a mod to change the title to something that sounds a little less aggressive, and more with game times/timezone, and system, and you'll probably get a bit more success. As it is, it reads like GMs are openly hostile to female players (which isn't really true). Regardless, I wish you guys luck. Finding people who support players (and GMs! We're important too) of all genders and situations can be rough :)

Agreed. I have heard stories going in both directions, lol. I think the title and some of the content stemmed from her own experiences as a gamer.

I absolutely do appreciate the statement that I am creating a safe place to enjoy a role-playing game. We do still need two female players if anyone is interested. This is a story that I have had planned for a long time. Once this story is told, there will be an opportunity to create new and original characters of the player's design.
