GM changing players' colors

Not sure what to call them, but the little player-identification color tags? One of my players, a while back, set theirs to pure white, making it a bit more of a hassle to work with their journal entries. They changed it after a discussion of why it was inconvenient, but for future reference, I'm curious if there's any way to change these for other players as a GM. Would be handy to have, as I think they're a lot more useful to GMs than to players, and similar colors or the aforementioned white could get annoying.

There isn't a way to do this in the interface, but it is possible to do with an API script (A Pro Subscription Perk).  Let me know if you want to go down that route (or if anyone else is interested) and I can throw one together super fast.

If you want to allow players to use white... you could possible put a single pixel black border around the color dots in the handouts list via Stylish or a similar extension.

Good idea! This does it nicely: div.playerdots span.playerdot {     text-shadow: -1px -1px 0 #000,  1px -1px 0 #000, -1px 1px 0 #000, 1px 1px 0 #000; }

Would it be possible to make an ever-changing rainbow of colors that appears to shift across the players present? Like a string of blinking lights by the player names. (Not an important API request but yeah, I'd probably install it, because blinking colors).
Yeah. It'd probably be possible, lol.

Yeah, it it is.  The API Heartbeat script causes a given player's color to pulse. The really interesting detail is that when you ping or when you are drawing things, the color is constantly changing as well. =D  It does tend to load the server quite a bit, which is why API Heartbeat changes pretty slowly at this point. =D
