It'd be nice to be able to say "If this game has not been updated in 3 weeks, don't include it in my results."
We're actually going to be putting something like this in as the default. The goal is to make sure all listings have been updated at least once in the last month to ensure they are still active.

Would it not be better to have listing select a day, time, and frequency then have roll20 work it out (you could even let people select more than one day/time), then simply base the activity check on when it was last attended by a GM and one other player/GM as well as updates to the listing, this would weed out games that are just being built by a gm all the time but not played or updated, or games that have just had a player or two jump on to see if the GM is turning up. But the important thing is your listing should show as inactive or something similar with a description of why (a bit like how it is now if your next play date is in the past) so you can see it and fix it.
