Dark Sun (5E D&D)

Edit: Also not opposed to running this in Pathfinder. Edit: LF DM to run this. Is there any interest in this campaign setting? The Dark Sun world is a very harsh, hostile world. Magic is NOT commonplace, and most wizards are feared or at least "watched". Metals are quite rare (meaning, no giant 2-handed swords, friends). Psions are more commonplace than typical D&D. There are no true deities, but rather the sorcerer-kings grant power that is sometimes considered "divine". The concept of "Survival of the Fittest" is probably the paramount mantra that fits this campaign, as food and water and other basic resources are scare in a world that has harsh weather, is mostly wasteland, and lacks as much "life" (greenery, water, etc.) as the typical D&D settings. Here's an adaption of the Dark Sun PHB for 5th Edtion by Gabriel Zenon Wach: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4jZ_-uYQxf8XzFpX... c ampaign setting resources (various authors/adaptors, some unknown) : https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8eqcDznen... I have always liked the concept of this world. It's a spin on the traditional D&D formula that is quite interesting.
I do have definite interest in Dark Sun, never been able to find a game though.

If there's enough interest, we could get a game going and find a DM. There are a few DS-themed stories that could be adapted from the 2E or 3.5E or even 4E. It would take some work, but it could be done.
Argh, if only you were offering to run it in Pathfinder, I'd be all over this like a Thri-Kreen in a mitten shop. It's a great setting, I really hope you get enough people for it. Best of luck :)

I'm interested in giving this a shot. Please let me know if this starts getting traction.
I have definitive interest placed in this campaign setting. :D
With a DM on board, count me definately in any time!. Dark Sun remains my #2 favored setting (Ravenloft winning 1st place).
I would be interested depending on the day of the week it is being played
