Some weeks we will need to cancel. Any cancellation happening by the Party later than Wednesday will see the GM getting two hours pay for inconvenience. If the Party cancels on or before Wednesday, the GM will receive one hour pay for inconvenience. Party may wish, on rare occasions, to petition for a longer play session. Able to mediate rule disputes with a fair and reasoned hand. Possesses a medium (or better) understanding of the game system Friendly attitude (most of the time) Can accept constructive criticism, and give it Skilled in communicating information without visual aid (more than not) Adept at world building Use Curse Voice for voice coms. Good Mic, we don’t want a lot of background noise when you speak. System : The Burning Wheel, Gold Edition Setting : GM can create the setting, but these are our restrictions. High Fantasy 5 Lifepath Character Creation Our group is new to Burning Wheel, but experienced and motivated RPers who will do our homework on the system. Anticipate a lot of communication from us outside of the session, especially early on. We will show up ready to play and fully invested. Expect us to play to our characters. We are all middle aged, and use curse words. We aren't really into in-game romance, if it comes up for some reason it's preferred to sort of gloss over the details. Process for Application : In a PM send me a list of your qualifications and a short description of the setting you would build for the game. We will contact you to let you know if you make it to the second stage. Stage two will be a short (less than thirty minutes) interview. We will contact you to let you know if you make it to the third stage. Stage three will be a one or two hour session where one or two members of the party will attend to get a feel for how you run certain parts of the campaign. We will provide scenarios (like Combat, Political RP, Infiltrating a house, etc..). You will provide two pre-gen characters. We will obviously contact you to let you know if you are our final choice.
