Character Information Painstakingly Entered - Gone

So the Character information I entered, after the tabletop shut down, did not return when I brought it back up.  That can't be normal!  Any idea what happened? OK odd!  I typed in the name of one and suddenly all of them appeared.  What's up with that?

It is possible that a tag was entered and it didnt match anything. If this happens again please check to see if there is a tag entered already. Also, if this happens again a screenshot would be helpful. :) - Gauss

It does happen.  Every time nearly.  I have to futz around with it and eventually I get a character up and then the rest appear.   As a separate matter - occasionally I am unable to click on any token, even if I reset the token layer.  I have to hit f5  and reload the campaign to fix this. I'll attach a screenshot in a bit for the character issue as well as a play by play.
