I'm used to using Pyromancer's d&d map making system, which I'm sure many of you are familiar with. I've been trying to make dungeons within Roll20 rather than outside but I can't seem to figure out one little tid bit. Question #1 Say I have a stone ground texture that is meant to fit in a 2x2 grid space. Well say I need it to fill up 24x24 grid space, normally you'd expect to simply enlarge the mesh and be done with it, but for some reason roll 20 expands the resolution of the texture accordingly, which is a serious pain in the ass. Is there a way to enlarge the space occupied by a texture without inflating It, and keep it at the same original resolution? Or will I have to make all my maps in photoshop. Question #2 In relation to the aforementioned pyromancer's map making system, you're able to draw walls. This is like drawing a polygon in any program but instead of using a basic color it is painting with a texture. I'm going to assume that Roll20 can't do this, however to make up for I am unable to scale down a texture to occupy a smaller space (say 1/2 x2) without it squishing the texture like I mentioned above. Is this avoidable? Or will I have to use photoshop?
