Stuck on loading screen

So I was trying to add an area map image "Lands of the Inner Sea.png" to the campaign I've been been using to test the system "Test Phase", however when I uploaded the file to the page it came out as a tiny thumbnail despite being A4-sized. I tried expanding it, it came out all blurry. Deleted, tried again, same result. So, I went back to the original file and made it bigger before uploading again. I think I've overdone the image size trying to find a good level (*cough* 3215 x 4173px, 11MB *cough*) as now the table seems to give up when I try to launch the campaign. It stays on the "Loading..." screen and there are a load of error messages in the error console: Timestamp: 08/05/2012 03:14:21 Warning: Error in parsing value for 'background-image'. Declaration dropped. I don't think you'll need these, but I'll add this anyway just in case: I'm currently using Firefox 12 on Win7 Pro (64bit), flash is up to date and java+cookies are enabled. Is there a way to delete this file or does the campaign need to be abandoned? Also - please don't kill me. Thanks, Paul. EDIT Seems it isn't borked - After reading the 'Player's cant Load Maps' discussion in the bug reports, I dusted off and updated the chrome browser, and it's loading the map fine. I think the issue is with firefox.
Hmm...well it seems I must have borked something on my end in the latest update. Now if I could only get a read on what it is.
Just to double-check, do you have any Firefox addons? I doubt that's it, but I'm having trouble reproducing this error on my end.
No, definitely no add-ons
Okay, I just pushed out a change or two that *may* help. If you reload and it's still not working on Firefox, can you also disable the Fog of War for that page (unless it's not enabled, it which case let me know). You can disable it while you are on another page before switching to that page, or disable it in Chrome, and see if that helps. Thanks!
Okidoke, here's what I have just done: - Exited game via settings. Closed chrome. - Tried launching campaign in Firefox, same problem - stuck on "loading..." screen. - Closed Firefox browser completely, went back to Chrome and launched campaign (went past 'loading...' screen very quickly like usual) - Disabled all fog of war, exited game via settings and closed chrome. - Launched Firefox, logged into Roll20, launched campaign, not moving past 'Loading...' Firefox is still open if you want me to check anything.
Okay. Thanks for checking. I'm going to wait a bit and see if this problem is experienced by more people in the next few hours. If so I'm going to temporarily rollback the earlier update and then we'll see if that fixes the problem. Thanks for your help!
No problem, I should probably stop tinkering with this bloody thing and get some sleep anyway... as you may have noticed by those timestamps is getting so late it's early XD The problem happened roughly 1hr 30mins ago (3am BST) if that helps you narrow it down. Good luck.
Seems to be loading again Firefox. Whatever you guys have done seems to have worked.
Hrm. Well I didn't do anything besides what I did last night, so I'm not sure if that fixed it or if it just sorted itself out, which is the worst kind of bug :-). At some point today I'll probably re-enable those things I turned off last night, so let me know if you see this happen again!
I'm getting stuck on the loading screen on Firefox v12 again... However it only seems to be my Win7 PC, my WinVista laptop will connect to it just fine. The PC *will* let me log in using Chrome, but the Shockwave Flash keeps crashing within about 10 seconds. I'm going to try re-installing chrome see if I can fix that... But yeah. Firefox being weird on me again... Edit: reinstalling Chrome and Shockwave (just to be on the safeside) has fixed the crashing that end, still can't connect through firefox on my PC though. Bizarre. Edit 2 (BST 12:30pm) And now it's working on Firefox again...... stupid computer...
