Macro Bar trouble with character stats

Hello everyone, I am trying to make macros for the basic moves of dungeon world. I am currently having problems making some of the commands. I've made the attributes for each character easily; I am having a hard time making the macro bar work. I want these commands to use the stats of whichever character clicks on them, but I am not having any luck. here are some examples I'm trying to use but wont work. For Defying Danger: ?{How are you defying danger?| By powering through (Str), /roll 2d6+@{str}|} For Hack and Slash: /me attacks!  /r 2d6 +@{Str} thanks for the help, maestroman
If you're saving these macros under My Settings , you'll want to add the ' selected' keyword to your Attribute calls.

Is there a way to do it automatically with whoever clicks it. as in who you are under the "as" prompt below the chat? I managed to make it work with a selected token for the meantime. and indeed, I'm using it under my settings.

Unfortunately, there is no way for a macro to know/access the name that a player is speaking as. However, a GM is able to use the /as and /emas Chat Commands within a macro. As well, an API Script could provide similar functionalities. (Access to the API is available in games in which the Creator has an active Pro subscription.) Otherwise, you may have to make do with something like this: @{selected|character_name} attacks!  /r 2d6 +@{selected|Str}
Thank you very much for your help!
