I'm doing this as part of the application process in my game , but thought it would also be cool to create a sort of audio database of players who like to roleplay and speak in-character. The game I'm running is for D&D 5e, but this could apply to anyone looking for players who share their enthusiasm for roleplaying. You don't have to be a professional voice actor to audition; in fact it might help if you're a little bad so others with the same skill level will feel more comfortable roleplaying with you. And you can always play a low-charisma half-orc who merely grunts and speaks in one-word sentences if you're really shy. I personally am no professional, as you will tell by my audition, but all I'm looking for in my games are players who show enthusiasm, and put at least a little bit of effort into portraying their character. To audition, simply follow this link and answer the NPC's questions in a recording of your own. Soundcloud has a pretty simple record button, but you may use youtube or something else if you prefer. Post the link below, and if you hear other people/characters you'd like to play with, shoot them a message!
