Notes on Tokens

Would be cool if the notes for a token were in their own layer rather than be part of the Options layer. For example, let's say I add a note of what's in the treasure chest. When the players open the chest, I have to open the settings and scroll down to get to the notes. Not a deal-killer, but this important information is buried beneath information that is meaningless in this context. All the bars, which are great for PCs and NPCs, are just getting in my way for the treasure chest. So, consider having a notes button that would display only notes about that token. It would just be a single notes field -- and it would have the typical view and edit modes. That way, I could view my notes very quickly. Besides, really, once the options are set, you're not really interested in viewing them anymore.
@rickcecil, Yeah, I think I get what you mean. This suggestion was also made weeks ago. If it helps, I remember the thread, but it goes more or less off-topic past the post #3: Quick and Dirty Contextual Notes Access http://community.roll20.net/discussion/2881/quick-and-dirty-contextual-notes-access/p1 Maybe this additional thread can be pertinent as well: A "Quick Reference" on mouseover for tokens http://community.roll20.net/discussion/695/a-quick-reference-on-mouseover-for-tokens/p1
Yeah, both of those are similar ideas. I could see being able to mouse over the note icon and get a preview of the note, but I'd still like to see it editable in a layer separate from the options layer. It is tacked on there -- and would be better if it were more quickly accessible.
