Hi there! We're a group of D&D adventurers. I'm the DM, and we've just completed the Lost Mines of Phandelver (at least, it took the starters edition as the baseline. We expanded on it a lot.) We've been playing for a while now and are experienced in other rpgs as well, mainly Dark Heresy (1st and 2nd edition).  We are looking for a new player to join us, seeing as how we're 1 DM and 4 players currently, one of whom'll be joining us intermittently. We thought a new player could be interesting for the group-dynamic and overall funsies. :-)  The style we play in could be described as RP-heavy. There's combat where appropriate, sometimes even deadly combat, but we do like our RP from time to time. Roleplay between players gets my DM-hype going. I like to create a lot of sidequests and plothooks that the players can choose to follow up on. All in all, though, as it should be, we're all just out to have a good time. A requirement, seeing how we use roll20, would be a proper microphone and internet connection. We generally use Discord.   If you're interested in joining the adventuring group 'Henchmen For Hire', leave a message. It'd be appreciated if you shortly describe your playing style and previous experiences etc, and I'll glaly get back to you!  We're mainly playing on Thursdays or Sundays, but if all the players are in agreement we sometimes arrange other dates. We do generally play in the evenings, from 20:00-23:00ish. We're all a bit lenient in these days/times. No pwessure; but we do like to play regularly, ofc. Our timezone is CEST, as we're all from Netherlands and Denmark.  Cheers!  Neighbourhood's friendly DM,  Roo
What time zone are you guys playing in. You mentions times and days but not timezone  Thanks
I'd be interested those times are CST or later
CEST, we're from the Netherlands and Denmark. 😊
Rowan S. said: CEST, we're from the Netherlands and Denmark.  That actually works better. I tend to let people take the spotlight unless I'm playing a bard but also play my characters to the hilt when it doesn't negatively affect the group. Been playing for over 3 years with mosy of my experience in 5e
Noted, Brian, thank you very much! I'll wait a little while longer to see other replies, but that sounds good. :-) Great fan of bards.
No problem. I did just see that you also play on Thursdays (I had only seen Sundays before). I couldn't make the Thursday games. Sorry for taking your time!
Thursday is not necceserily a requirement, we more often than not play on Sundays, outside of the regular-ish Sunday we often just see if other dates work too, and play an extra game or so in the week. Make of that what you will! :-)

Hey Im Michael and I live in Germany so your times would work just fine with me. I've started playing tabletop RPGs with 5e and I've played for over a year now. I enjoy roleplaying the most and a close second is findig odd ways to solve problems :-).  If it fits with the group and i've Im the chosen one I would like to play a Warlock but thats optional.
Heya, I'm also from Germany, have played and DMed some 5e Oneshots, aswell as some longer pathfinder Adventures before that. Because of Work i wasn't able to play in a long 5e Campain, but now that all my evenings are free agian for atleast 2 years, i'm hoping to change that. I also love the style of Critical Role, in regards to the RP and fights ratio. So, yea..  I put RP above Combat, or once in a while like to try to solve an Encounter with the help of the enviroment or a risky move. (I dont argue if the DM says no to an idea like that ofc. ) My Characters usually work well in a team, while not forgeting their own agenda (wich i would choose together with the Dm (doesnt need to be anything complicated, so no worrys) Their Personality differs depending on Classes, im open to play all, but prefer druids, bards or rangers. I myself am a pretty openminded, fun-loving guy, but can be dead Serious if i have to be.
