Handouts: Duplication and Attributes/Abilities

Hello folks, This suggestion for improvement is relatively a simple one but one I find no end to my frustration.  Why can handouts (not character sheets) not be duplicated?  This needs fixed.  Additionally, I think handouts should have the option to individually turn on/off an attached Attributes/Abilities tab to allow for more dynamic uses of handouts.  Sometimes, a handout needs only one or two built-in abilities/macros (not all of those justified to create a character sheet).  Character sheets tend to be much heavier and bulkier than handouts, and that should be avoided at all costs with handouts, but having handouts have an Abilities/Attributes page should not be too heavy on loading/processing. Regardless, handouts need to be able to be duplicated.  This should be a simple fix. -Uncle b.

Interesting suggestion about having Attributes & Abilities on a Handout. That is a novel, new suggestion. For Duplicating Handouts, you are correct there is not a Duplicate button like there is on Characters. Adding this is a good suggestion too. &nbsp;In the current system, I find that making a new copy of a handout involves 3 steps: (1) Make a new blank handout. (2) Copy-paste the text, (3) Re-upload the image. So it would save some time if the Handouts had "Duplicate Handout" button on the Edit screen. Other than time-savings, you should be able to duplicate your handouts with this procedure. There is a workaround trick for those with a Pro Subscription, Uncle B. Try the Transmogrifier. &nbsp;You can Copy your handout(s) to another game, say "My Handouts Holding Tank Game", and then Copy it back to your main game, using Transmogrify. Wiki docs for this method, <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Transmogrifier" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Transmogrifier</a>
TY for the idea with Transmogrify.&nbsp; A useful work-around.&nbsp;
Is duplicate handout being worked on? since a year has gone by without it being implemented.
Also, since it has been brought up, the work-around you describe (not the transmog one) is VERY time consuming when you are working with more than a small stack of handouts. Also, you have to stop the game each time you need to make that copy your way, Gold. Even if it only takes 30-45 secs, that stops the game each time and it piles up. I have the transmog but that seems silly to have an entirely seperate game just to duplicate a handout. And it requires $10 a month just to duplicate handouts? I'm gonna use the transmog workaround but it really seems like a no brainer.

This is now on the Dev server for Pro users:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6873562/roll20-hacktoberfest-2018" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6873562/roll20-hacktoberfest-2018</a> It will go live to all users once it's done with testing.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Regarding Attributes and Abilities on a Handout: Despite Characters being named so, in the end they're really just a data structure. If I want to represent a piece of equipment with an item in the Journal, and I want it to have Attributes and/or Abilities, I can create it as a Character and it does exactly what you want. It doesn't matter whether it's officially known as a Character or a Handout. As someone who prefers not to bother with Character Sheets in Characters, I am keenly aware that a Character in Roll20 is not synonymous with a character sheet at a real gaming table.

True, but as I mentioned in my original post, character sheets automatically load three pages, the bio page, the character sheet page, and the attributes/ability page.&nbsp; Character sheets are heavier to load.&nbsp; Hand-outs are lighter, hence the preference of using them for simpler purposes.
