Problem with Private roll Macro

Im using the macro    /gmroll [[1d20+?{modifier|0}]] for private GM rolls. But whenever anybody uses it they get stuck in GM roll mode. No one can see their rolls after that eccept the DM. How do i fix this? *Edit: It shows the rolls in the chat box but not with the 3d dice.

Hi Brandon, Since it sounds like 3d dice are working before that I'll avoid asking if everyone has them enabled. The only other thing I can think to suggest is; when was the last time you cleared your chat archive (not the clear chat log that is available in game)? A lot of hinky chat behavior can be fixed by simply getting rid of the chat archive. And then, not what you asked, but using /gmroll you don't need to put things in an inline roll. If you were using /w gm then you would need the inline roll. Hope that helps, Scott

Not sure which part of it is considered the inline roll? However I found out when a player types /roll 1d20 into the chat box, their rolls start showing up again. This is weird and i cant figure out what the problem is.  Somehow it is getting stuck on GM roll and wont reset unless you do in manually in chat box. I tried clearing chat history and that didnt work.

inline rolls are denoted by [[ ]] and can be used to insert rolls directly into text. And are you using this: or this: to clear the chat archive? Other than that, I'd say submit a bug report to the devs.
To get rid of the inline roll, try changing the macro to either /gmroll 1d20+?{modifier|0} or  /w gm [[1d20+?{modifier|0}]] And see if that fixes it.
