D&D in the Forgotten Realms, Session 10, "Wheres our beer spider?"

Session 10 “Wheres My Beer Spider?” The party left Delfen’s tower on the edge of Daggerford and wound up near the front gate of Neverwinter. The party was shocked to see how much damage had really been done by the explosion of Mount Hotenow. The massive skyline that Neverwinter once had was gone as the party drew closer to the “Jewel of the North.” Just a few large temples dotted the now blank skyline. The party found the new location of the Moonstone Mask Tavern, anchored in the sky above the new Protector’s Enclave. As they rushed in to check on all of the belongings and loot from previous adventures, they were informed by Tsumoro’s favorite barmaid Trixie that a few old friends came and gathered all of their belongings. Stharien, Izzy and Zareth took advantage of the party while they were gone. Although they have not been involved with the party for several months when they went they’re own separate ways, they conned the guards and employees of the Tavern that the party was in the process of moving operations and needed to get their belongings. When the party found this out they were irate and wanted vengeance for this betrayal. The party tracked a few leads down with the few goods vendors left that knew Stharien was headed to the forest to track down an ancient Druid Circle that had been gone for several hundred years. Several party members remembered Stharien mentioning something about this now. The party then left Neverwinter to start the search for Stharien and the others. When they arrived at his families circle, it was utterly destroyed. After searching for any kinds of clues the group knew they were not alone. Morningwood, the treant leader of this portion of the forest informed them that the Druid they were searching for became mad and blamed the treants for the death’s of all of the Druids there. The treants already having enough to deal with the undead and barbarians in the forest now have to deal with the threats of Stharien using the elements to destroy the forest. After being lead to the temple of the “Druids of the Burning Bridge” with the help of the treants, the party entered and the search was on. The party had a busy night killing many creatures they had never encountered before such as a trapper, Lurker from above and several types of mimics (one actually had three weapons and two party members stuck to it LOL). After an encounter with a mystical statue that ended up being the creator of the Burning Bridge, Veyela, the party was healed up and ready to confront Stharien. As they entered the large chamber, Stharien was just finishing up a ritual that gave him control of the worlds elements. Stharien knew much private information about each of our party members. Much of it being truly personal. Stharien informed the party that Izzy had been having visions of everyone which is how this information was known. As Graegos wanted to hear some Earth, Wind and Fire for the fight (which was a damn good idea I may add), Jeph lost his patience and charged in to take the head off of Stharien. The battle ensued and Stharien, now in bear form, was aided by three elementals, earth, water and fire. After a close fight where Pam literally was one shot by a water elemental, the party now stood over the corpse of the decapitated bear. Where was Izzy and Zareth? Only time will tell.
