Image Change

Hi, Hope you can help. Currently I'm playing in about 3 -4 games per week / bi-weekly. I tend to change my Image to whatever player character (PC) I play in the next game, so when I log in my player avatar in-game matches my PC's picture. I've done this since I began playing in Roll20 a little over 2 years ago. Last week, I was no longer able to change my picture. I know it sounds frivolous, but it added a bit of ambiance for me and often the other players, as well. I was in contact with a member of Roll20 who was very nice. She gave me some general advice to which I followed to no avail. I normally use Firefox, we (my boyfriend and I) even tried using Google Chrome. Neither worked. I've tried putting in pictures that I normally use and have no trouble uploading. Nothing. I've tried new pictures. Nothing. If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Nat20

Hi Nat20. I am not a mod or a dev, but I did think of something that might be your issue. I'm assuming that you are uploading a new image every time you change your portrait. Have you cleaned your library out. You wouldn't be able to upload a new image if you had reached/exceeded your library size limit. See the wiki page for details on the limit: https://wiki.roll20.net/Art_Library

Adding on to what Scott suggested, also you can check your Uploaded amount and quota on your personal account page, https://app.roll20.net/account/ If that's not it post again and we will continue troubleshooting steps for this.
I'll have my boyfriend look at it during the week, but to be honest, I doubt it has anything to do with my library. I only have like two small maps downloaded and I'm quite sure that it's unrelated to my personal page.

We had that thought based on, whenever you change your Avatar might be uploading a new picture (or new copy of a picture) into your Library each time. When you click on the link I gave, what does it say under Storage Quota on the right side?

Yeah, I realized that when I joined a new game. I just have to keep on top of cleaning house. It's kinda dumb that it makes copies of the same picture, but it is what it is. Just a bit of maintenance on my end. I appreciate the help and good advice. Thank you. Ok cool. Yes, unfortunately we don't currently have an easy way to set the Avatar from a picture in your Library that is already uploaded. People in your situation (who want a different Avatar showing for each game) tend to end up with duplicates in your Library. Here is a popular Suggestion on the suggestions & ideas forum. Please add your comments and Vote +1 if you support the idea, Unique Portraits For Each Game
Thank you for the link to the conversation. I definitely agree and appreciate it. Lol I ended up going through and deleting my entire library and then just re-uploading the pics that I needed. It just seemed easier that way.
