Hey everybody, welcome to You're It! I am using the D20 Modern System with some Pathfinder influence. Since I am combining multiple systems, there are some custom rules that aren't normally found in D20 Modern. I will be going over all of these at a later time. The game opens in modern day, mid summer, 2016 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina It's up to you to explain why your character is at the hotel. Perhaps vacationing, there on business, they work at the hotel or they are attending the Medical Conference? There is no limit to what your character can be, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you have not played D20 Modern before, the character classes are defined in the D20 Modern Compendium on page 26. If you don't have a copy of the book, you can find a link to it here: http://www.darkshire.net/jhkim/rpg/srd/srd_modern... Game Day: Friday at 7PM eastern time. Game Warnings: 1. I want this game to make players stop and think, give pause. So there will be mature content warning (Zombies, Language, Adult Situations, Hard Moral Choices). 2. As a DM, I am trying to kill players, Zombies have advantage (most of the times). I would recommend coming up with a backup character just incase the worst happens to your character. 3. "Horror" Zombies / Zombie Attacks Game Day: 1. I plan on having the game day be every other week, mostly to give me time to draw out the maps for the game. Since there is a general story, I don't know if players will stick to the "story" or decide to drive to Utah. So I need time to prepare. This is a very open world map, there is no right or wrong path. Game Prep: 1. I have some questions I will be asking to every player, I will award bonus stat points, skill points, and feats depending on your answers. 2. This game will have an emphasis on role play, the more you role play, the more experience points will be awarded to you. It will not be a cookie cutter amount awarded to you every game, so leveling up as quickly as you want, depends on you. 3. Once I have selected players for the game, we'll sit down once you have a character design and go over your stats, skills, inventory and questions. I hope to set aside an hour with each player before the game begins to make sure everyone is ready for game day. For new players, I can set aside some more time to walk you through your character sheet and basic rules. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsO6vxz1i0c&featur...

For how long are you normally running sessions? I'd be interested in your friday game, but it would start at around 10 or 11 PM (I'm not sure whether you guys are currently on standard time or not) for me. So if you're doing like 5hour+ sessions, I probably can't make it. Or I might sleep in. Who knows.
