LFG as a player and not a GM?

Hello, I'm rather new here, haven't done much RPing before, but I was part of a short lived DnD group.  Sadly, the GM and one of the players had to leave, and the player in question ran our Discord group.  We have a new Discord group, but the GM seems to not be on Discord much anymore, and he hasn't replied to any PMs on Roll20 either.  I was going to ask in LFG about seeing if someone would be willing to DM 5E for some new players, but am unsure if people that aren't GMing are allowed to.  I'll have more information about what happened so far if anyone is interested.

Hi! Yes, it is allowed. You might tag your post title with LFGM (Looking For Game Master). Of course you can also look for LFG posts and apply. Here are guidelines for the Looking For Group forum, Posting to LFG: Read First Note, there is also the Find A Group search system of Roll20, and only game Creators can list a game there (though a Creator can be a Player).
