Session 12, “All Hell is Breakin Loose” Tonight our adventurers started within the town of Daggerford. The party usually likes to stay at the Lady Luck Tavern but unfortunately the rooms there are full because of the adventuring boom in the Misty Forest and High Moors. So, the party trekked over to the Farmers Quarters and grabbed a place at the Happy Cow Tavern. After a little gambling and drinking, the party returned to their rooms for the evening. Tsumoro even got lucky with a beautiful Elven woman, although it did take a fine bottle of elven spirits. As the adventurers were in the dining area all hell broke loose from the sounds of breaking stone, splintering wood and screaming men and women. the party went outside to see what was going on, and Thoss, the male Black Dragon they encountered several weeks ago was destroying the town of Daggerford. The party looked around as this was going on and bodies were strewn everywhere, even the noble Paladin Isteval. Thoss and its young dragon wyrmling landed and had the party pinned against the wall of Ducal Castle. After the mate of Thoss landed to join the other two Dragons, the three Black Dragons sprayed massive amounts of acid on the party. After several of these sprays of acid from the dragons, the party then woke up from a bad dream. Sweat pouring from their foreheads and being out of breath showed them how vicious an opponent the Black Dragon really is. After the party went back to sleep and actually woke up, they gathered their gear and went downstairs to grab some food and to head to the tower of Delfen. Delfen was at the tower waiting and gave them information on the Red Wizards and also the location of another possible location of one of the elemental keys. The party was off to Ambergul Estate. As the party explores all of the crypts they had came across several sleeping adventurers seeking shelter from the Lizard Marsh. The party took their belongings and went into the crypts. After fighting several wraiths and looting quite a few crypts inside the estate, the party decides to take a rest.
