Here's what I did: I made a map that's 50x30 grid squares. Otherwise accepted the factory defaults. Zoomed out to 30%. Drew some things freehand in the lower right hand part of the map...from the LR corner extending maybe eight squares up and in toward the center. Zoomed in to 60%. What I drew had vanished! I zoomed back out to 30%...there it was back again. It had just been hidden at 60% zoom. Panning, scrolling...useless. On further checking, I discovered that I would ONLY see the lower quarter (or so) of this map when at 30%. ANY other zoom level, bigger or smaller, cuts off what it shows me above the level of what I drew. I don't know that there's anything magical about 30%, it's probably just because that's the zoom I was at when I started drawing. This is on chrome 30.0.1599.69m. Windows 8.
