Issues on Chrome

Hi all Me and some of my friends have been having trouble using Roll20 on google chrome, We have had issues with dynamic lighting features and FOW features as well as some of the FX functions don't work. There are other issues that we run into as well. I was wondering if it is just us with these issues, if so let us know and we will figure out what we are doing wrong. If it is not just us then can you let me know so we can stop stressing over it. For your information i was a sub but recently un-sunbed for financial reasons my friends are still subbed and running into these issues as well as other that i have not first hand experienced. Hi, Isaac E. Dynamic Lighting and the FX functionalities are perks that are available only in Games in which that Game's Creator currently has an active subscription (Plus and Pro, respectively). If you are the Creator of the Game in which you're unable to use Dynamic Lighting and FX, this is to be expected. When a subscription ends, access to subscription perks is ceased. However, when a subscription recommences, access to those perks is restored; you'll find all of your Dynamic Lighting and Custom FX work as you left it. Fog of War is not a subscription perk; if you feel that you continue to experience issues, we can look into troubleshooting.

Yes, I know all of this and the current GM and game creator is a pro user, we still have these issues and find that chrome is very laggy.

We have currently moved to FireFox and that seems to have fixed all the issues we have been getting but i still think that there are issues as there have been a number of people complaining about issues on other forums

I'm glad that a switch to Firefox was able to resolve your issues. Would you like to continue troubleshooting with Chrome, or should I mark this as resolved?

You might want to try toggling Hardware Acceleration off or on in Chrome settings and see if that makes a difference. Others have had problems with DL because of this, but I don't know if yours is the same.
