Hey everyone, I've been on Roll20 for close to 2 years, the majority playing 5e and, to this point, have ALWAYS used the 5e Community Sheet. It has been the most flexible and easy on the eyes of any sheet I've ever worked with on Roll20. However, with the Compendium features out, some in my group have wanted to move to the OGL sheet, due to having the ease of the Compendium auto-populating information (the biggest offenders being spells for the casters). In our experiments with the OGL sheet, though, every single one of my players save one says it makes their eyes bleed with its design and UI (and many of my players have formal education in these fields). I don't say this to insult anyone involved with the OGL, but simple features (like the interface seen in the Community Sheet's Class tab, which let you interface a certain ability when a specific action is taken, like making a melee attack or rolling for initiative) would go MILES, as well as changing the sheet to not involve three clicks anytime you want to cast a spell or make an attack. I know the OGL and Shaped sheets do get regular updates and, hopefully, one day they might be a little easier to use - I've said to my group that the OGL sheet saves you time up front for more time down the road (with a lack of automation and confusing sheet behavior). But is there any effort to pick up where Actoba left off and possibly incorporate the 5E Community Sheet with the Compendium? To me, that would be the ultimate of all worlds. Thanks in advance for anyone who is able to answer.
