Freeze User Script/Setting?

Is there a way to prevent a user from chatting/rolling temporarily as a punishment. I'm not really this issue has come up, but we have a person we need to cage sometimes and when I jail him or his party knocks him out, he spams chat with death save rolls and is overall obnoxious. I talked to him and we're giving him another chance, but I'd really like to prevent him from rolling, chatting, and drawing on the map. Is this possible?
I know there is a script to lock player tokens in place. But am unaware of any way to stop people chatting or rolling dice in the game without booting them from the game.  Wonder if a script could be written to intercept anything one particular player tried to do. But if he is that much trouble and you have already given him a chance: it may be time to tell him farewell.

The API can't prevent any default actions a player can take. &nbsp; I do have a script called DryErase that locks down drawing permissions, along with selective authorization and labeling: Original Thread:&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2852459/script-d" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2852459/script-d</a>... And a script that locks tokens called TokenLock: Original Thread: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1033747/script-t" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1033747/script-t</a>... Really, this comes down to a social issue and it sounds like you've got that angle covered by talking to the player and the other players about the problem. You could also try redirecting the player during their "out of play" time. &nbsp;Something I would try in similar circumstances is preparing a handout with something interesting that's going on while they are "walking toward the light", possibly with some puzzle or interesting/confusing information they have to puzzle out. &nbsp;Make sure it has an element of something they have to do to solve it or take advantage of it that can hold their fidgety nature while they wait for whatever happens to happen.
Personally, I'd just ditch that player.

There is no means to prevent a player from chatting. One option if he's drawing on the map is to use the Split the Party feature to send him to his own map page where he can't bother anyone else with his doodles.

Also, Aaron's wonderful&nbsp; DryErase script But I second the people suggesting you remove him from the game. It's too much work to GM and then put up with ____ like that.
Thanks for all the help guys! I'm definitely going to try this DryErase script! Good work! He's a friend of a friend, so my friend talked to him and let him know we're giving him another chance and there's already someone willing to take his place if he can't get his act together.
