Question About the Manuals.

I own all the manuals physically, is there a way to get them digitally since i bought them by using a code or such in/on the book? or would i just have to break down and spend the 100+ $$ again? I Dm IRL and i thought i'd try to get into dming on here so im just wanting to be able to use all my resources without causing too much carpal tunnel lol

I'm assuming that you are referring to D&D 5e, as this is the only system that has full rulebooks integrated with Roll20. Unfortunately this is not possible. While you do get all of the info from the hard copies of the books, the true "product" is all the setup that is done for you in Roll20, and that is really what you are buying when you purchase the Roll20 version of the books. One of the mods will probably come along shortly and give a much better/coherent explanation of it.
yeah the 5e manuals. and dang so it's looking like a pay more cash out then lol. ill wait for the mod tho see what they say. maybe ill get lucky. probably not tho lol
Just as a note, for monsters and spells if you use the OGL or Shaped sheets, you can drag items from the compendium into the sheet to import them in which can save a lot of time. For monsters and spells not in the compendium, the Shaped sheet has an API script you can use to more easily import those too (though this is a Pro feature)
i knew of the drag and drop feature for the OGL sheet (love it so far) but i was trying to add in monster from the Monstermanual by hand saw the thing got added recently and thought i'd ask just to be safe since never hurts to ask. currently adding in everything by hand lol 1 monster down 6 more to go

I moved this thread to the specific use forum as it was more inline for this forum. Scott C has the basics of it. The physical book and roll20 digital merchandise are two different beasts. For those that have the books but do not want to repurchase their products, manually inputting it is the only way. It is usually highly recommended to just input what you are going to use for the coming session or two and not the whole book at one time. This helps with the carpal tunnel problem as you won't be sitting there for hours and hours. On the positive side is that as the SRD is updated, the compendium is updated so as more monsters, spells, and other items become ogl released they become available in time here also.
I've no problem setting up maps, tokens and monsters to prepare for a game session; my most pressing problem deals with turn sequence, and rolling for initiative [d6]. I've used the following for a rough initiative roll, but I find I get an error; "GM_INIT": /emas @{selected|token_name} rolls a [[1d6+?{modifier|0}&{tracker}]] for initiative!

What's the error? I would also recommend creating your own thread Stephen as this question is pretty unrelated to this thread.
