Drawings not selectable

I recently upgraded my account, and since then I have been having trouble with drawings that I've created with the drawing tools spontaneously not being selectable when I click on them.  If I click and drag a selection box over the drawing, it does get selected enough to delete it, but it doesn't let me move it.  I've tried selecting it on all layers, as well as making sure any surrounding drawings are sent to the back.  Even weirder is that it doesn't happen immediately - after I create the drawing, it will be selectable and movable for a few minutes, but eventually stops being selectable.  I'm stumped as to what could be happening here.

Happens all the time. You have to zoom in closer to get a bigger cross section on lines and activate the cursor to show it has picked up the drawing. Using a marquis is better but you have to be careful not to cover other items, and even that can fail if you are zoomed out too much.  You just have to live with it.
