[Advanced AD&D 2E] General Support

Hey guys, my new sheet is now live. If you have general problems that need help, or bugs that need squashing, you can drop me a line here. Otherwise, for anything super specific or not necessarily related to the function of the sheet (Like macro questions, attribute re-writes, you need a custom version of the sheet for your game.) please contact via PM.

Hi SFX, I want to thank you for your splendid work, the new sheet is really an improvement! Way nicer to look and to use. Thank you again! This sheet will be a real boon for the 2ed players.

I noticed the rogue skill point tracker was in the wrong location. I have fixed this, and it should be applied by Monday.
What is the sheet name?

I have located 4 errors in the equipment tab, in the dispensable magic items section. Potion/Dusts/Scrolls. The dusts section, is not pulling the correct macro and the tables are not closed correctly. I will be fixing this in the next update on Sunday/Monday.
Update: Minor changes have been made to this sheet. Melee Damage Large will now be able to benefit from Specialist and Mastery checkboxes, where before, it could not. This affects the repeating sections only. The fixed section was already working. The repeating item storage for dusts, scrolls, and potions had some minor mistakes in it. I fixed these, and nothing about them should change. Thanks for your patience guys. The sheet probably still has some small bugs, and if you spot one, please report it here so I can address it.

Hi SFX. I noticed a problem with the 2e monster sheet. The Attack 2 and Attack 3 buttons are looking for attributes called "monsterdamage2" and "monsterdamage3" but the attributes have actually been called "monsterdmg2" and "monsterdmg3" so an error pops into the chat log. It's a great sheet, thanks for all of your hard work on it!
Oops, sorry about that. I'll fix today and it should roll out Monday/Tuesday.

Thanks, SFX, I appreciate it!
Seems related, we started with the 2e sheet, recently (tonight) jumped to 2e revised? (Says ad&d and has buttons). But serious problem with meta data not propagating. Made a post in the general char sheet forum before seeing this thread. Seems to be some metadata being input, but not propagating to bio, or attributes page. Please see the thread at the end of this. Started with what looked like a plain jane 1e/2e character sheet, but when meta data was entered into the char. sheet page, it didnt propagate properly to the attributes page, nor the bio page. Least some of it hasnt (movement, core stats sub data, weapon info beyond name, weapon proficiences, languages (additional), nor gear. Something is borked. Our GM attempted to fix it by upgrading to newer 2e EE sheets on github, but that hasnt corrected the issue/seems to have additional "features" beyond 2e. This seems to be a general table data error, and propagation between the char sheet page, the attributes/macro page, and the front bio page. Thanks in advance for the time and attention to this matter <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4591412/looking-" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4591412/looking-</a>...
Ok, 3 things.... 1. That link is broken. 2. If your bio page isn't even copying over, that's something wrong with the game itself more than likely as that is beyond the capabilities of the sheet. As for attributes, that's to be expected. My sheet and Dylan's sheet are vastly different and don't share most things in common, so entering info on one and then switching to the other is more than likely going to result in a lot of lost data. 3. How was the material moved? Through the Transmogrifier? The Character Vault? Manually? Was the sheet for the game simply switched mid fill? Depending on how things were handled, The solution will vary.

Proposed changes! Includes Regency tracker for Birthright! Includes Bloodline for Birthright! Includes Origin for Birthright! Includes Birthright currency tracker, replete with Gold Bars. Includes theme change to parchment and red/white/gold. color scheme. What it fixes... Fixed a typo with the Rogue henchmen section. Fixed all Rogue sections to include title bars above the tables. Fixed a second typo with the Rogue henchmen section. Fixed that annoying type off into infinity problem with text boxes. Moved some objects to better suited locations within the sheet. &gt; Here &lt; is the dev side version of the sheet with changes. Let me know what you guys think and if all is good, I can push this for next update on Monday.
If I don't hear anything back, I'm going to assume everyone is fine with these changes and go ahead to push them through

Update pushed. Included is: New Domain Sub Tab for Birthright games. Minor Bug Fixes. Minor Improvements, like organization of areas. Text areas now wrap instead of typing off into infinity. Rolltemplates have been added, courtesy of Elena S. Sheet worker to auto calculate weight from inventory has been added, courtesy of TheAaron. (I have disabled the weight input for the static first box as I can not add it into the calculation. At this time, assume this box to be something inconsequential, like clothes.) Sheet versioning script added, courtesy of TheAaron. Weapons section now has text better explaining the use of Slash/Pierce/Blunt weapons. Weapons section now has separators in the "against Armor Type" section to clean up appearance and improve use. New theme and color scheme.

I'm aware of the error that is causing the inventory Gear Carried section to result in 0 lbs carried no matter what it entered and that the field is read only. I am working on a resolution as soon as possible, please bear with me. Both my Dev test and my Production test work fine for some reason, but the public sheet doesn't even though it is exactly the same. I'll post an update when I know more / have a fix.
I am triing to figure out a way for the monster hitdice to roll when i pull the token to the desk top? any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks for the awesome character sheet BTW.
That sounds like compendium level stuff. I don't have access to anything like that as WotC won't make an SRD for AD&D. You'd have to just roll the hitdice prior and set the HP with the result as far as I know. I'll ask around though, maybe there's an API script that can do that.

@Thomas I suggest installing "TokenMod" from the dropdown API list. Then you can create a macro to auto roll HD for selected tokens and put it into the bar. The macro you want is:&nbsp; !token-mod --set bar1|[[@{selected|hitdice}]] If you have any questions/problems feel free to shoot me a PM and I can walk you through it. :)
Thanks Kirsty, I'm not too good with API stuff. :D

Ok, update time. The problem was located with the help of TheAaron. Apparently the bug only affects new sheets and those who did not have a value entered in weight for the static line item due to a mishap in the naming convention by me. I have put a fix out there and it should apply with the next round of updates. If you discover any other bugs or problems, or just have general concerns, criticisms, complaints, comments, or (maybe?) compliments, please post here for further assistance and I'll be happy to help. If you'd like to see a feature added, let me know as well.

So, I've been a bit busy thanks to a reported error. Next update will include the following: Rogue macro examples are fixed to accurately reflect the amount of points you should have. Rogue follower repeating section fixed to remove floating text. All follower weapon sections fixed to correctly name the follower as performing the attack. Psionic follower powers fixed to accurately reflect the follower using the power. Animal repeating section titles fixed. NEW: Followers now have a number of units box for larger scale follower use. Monster repeating section titles fixed. NEW: Added Bardic Identify to rogue skills. NEW: Optional Comeliness Score from 1993's Network Living City tournaments added. In the future: I'd like to add a box for Bardic Performance, but I'm not really sure how to go about doing so. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Ok, so I want some feedback on how to progress from here. Ultimately, I want to remove the first line of Carried Equipment and each of the Gem Pouches, but, I how to do so without erasing people's information? My only idea for now is to change the fields to readonly="true" so you can still see your input, but the field is disabled so you can't mess with it anymore. Then about three months later, go ahead and remove those lines as no one should be using them anymore. What does everyone think of this? Also, patch next week will include the following for sure: All saves added to Ravenloft Save Tab. These are the same values which are on the normal save tab, just copied over. No data will be lost. NEW: I fixed the visual scrap in the Details section for Height/Weight etc. It now looks and feels appropriate and has enough room to write Ambidextrous in it :D NEW: Monster Saves are here! They have been added in a simple to use section at the base of the rollables in each Monster sheet section. NEW: Spell sections now support tracking "slotted" and up to how many times they are. I do not have a way to automate this at this time. &nbsp; CLARIFICATION: I realize the spell section already vaguely supports slotted spells. I'm adding in Arcs, Wind, and Spell Point Tracking via script workers, including tracking for spell slots. This will take a few weeks to fully implement, please pardon the debris while I work.
So, if anybody still reads this... I got the spell section hammered out, fixed the gear and gem sections, added about 3000 lines of html and, here we are, waiting for Monday :) The sheet is up to version 2.4.0 now, and I couldn't be prouder of it, minus the hiccups, everybody hates those. I literally have no idea what else I can add to this thing to make it any more comprehensive. That's why, barring a post from you guys, I'm going to stop working on it. Instead, I'm going to focus my efforts into helping Kirsty write a companion script for the sheet and making a tutorial video to help people get the most out of the sheet. Probably a series of shorts or something. If you have any problems, complaints, criticisms, concerns, compliments or general comments, feel free to post here or PM me directly. Thanks to anyone who uses the sheet, and have fun everyone. :D
