Graphics tablet

I tend to draw my own maps on the roll 20 system and I was wondering if  a graphics pad would be able to work with the roll 20 paint system ( using a mouse is super awkward) - I don't want to buy a graphics pad for this only to find out that it does not work on roll 20

I use a graphics pad while using Roll20: a touch-sensitive Wacom. What specific features were you curious about? Roll20's drawing tools are very limited and not "paint"-based, but vector. The only tool which might be marginally easier to work with is the freehand tool, but it does not benefit from pressure-sensitivity. I don't think you would see much advantage to a tablet unless you just happen to prefer one as an input device, or you plan on using the freehand tool a LOT.
thanks! that was exactly the answer i was looking for, as i exclusively use the freehand tool to draw my maps

Then absolutely, it kicks butt on a mouse in terms of usability.
