Token Aura - Any way to diffuse the edge?

I am looking for a way, if possible, to set a diffused edge to an aura, rather than having the hard edged look. As seen here: Perhaps an option could be added to Diffuse the edge of this boundary? ....OR.... am I completely missing the option to do this somewhere? Thanks!

Unfortunately this isn't possible right now. There are some workarounds like creating multiple tokens and scaling the aura colours and sizes individually, but one aura cannot be multiple colours.

Wouldn't it be possible to do something like the way lighting works? Having it dim at the edges... Have the color dim or fade at the edges in the same way...
