LFG for The Sprawl

While I am new to Roll20, I am not  new to role playing. I would prefer to MC a Sprawl game but would not mind participating as a player. I am free Wednesdays and Thursdays (typically).  The Sprawl is a powered by the Apocalypse World hack that focuses on the narrative rather than the min maxing set in a dystonia (maybe) cyberpunk future. In our first session, we will create our little corner of the galaxy. or big corner if that's what you want. You want mechs you can control with your mind? sure! you want telekinesis, martial arts training, and a beam sword? I can make that work! Space battles? hell yea let's go!. but there's one thing you should note: I'm going to be a fan of your characters, but I'm not going to be their friends. If you've got a mech, you're probably hunted by some mega-corp. if you've got the mind powers and the training and the sword, im going to make you pay for it with either the life of a loved one or your mentor. If you want to battle in space, you wont always win. So just because we are here to have fun, I'm going to fill you're character's life with action, intrigue, and complication. so suit up, load you're Gatling gun with the laser rounds, and fire up those engines, 'cuz you're about to enter... THE SPRAWL Looking for 3-5 players ready for a fun, intriguing, gritty, narrative that will explore all kinds of crazy cyberpunk tropes and more! No experience or correct understanding of the English grammer system required, necessary, or even preferred!!! I'M FREE: wednsdays and thurdays all day, all other days are complicated, but usually from 9:00 am --- 1:00 pm PST.

If you ever decide to start running a sprawl game, let me know. I'm already preparing to run my first one. But... it's in spanish. 

I don't know Spanish all that well but i would try to make it work with google translate :( also i realize after work i need to make my pitch more appealing so people will want to join, so imma try and edit my main post.

I do not have the Sprawl but colour me interested.  Am at GMT 0 so 7hrs ahead of you.  Wed/Thurs is good for me atm, maybe weekends Will you be using text or voice?  

I dont really know how well the roll20 chat system works so ill say both. all else fails we can become buddies on skype. my skype username is nerdtron8. good to see my revamped article is interesting. The alpha version of the sprawl is out for free, and ive been listening to a podcasst tht has been using the system for about 32 episodes now so i've got a pretty good idea how it works. The system is also super easy to use and, in my opinion, is the best system for first timers. the rules are fluid, not necessarily lacking, and it gives a lot of room for our own stuff. there's even a portion that talks about crating our own moves, which is how the characters influence the world. ill post a link to the alpha rules version, and my knowledge can fill in some necessary gaps. <a href="https://i.yuki.la/tg/1359587872927.pdf" rel="nofollow">https://i.yuki.la/tg/1359587872927.pdf</a>

If you are worried that you won't be able to voice you're opinion amidst 3-5 other plyers, dont worry. i have already ran a campaign irl and the mot fun everyone said they had were designing a galaxy in which earth had to evacuate because it's sun had died, and they found a new inhabitable solarsystem in which there was a planet that had a dense gas that caused islands to float, a technological hub in which mcdonalds controled not only the fast food market, but also produced it's own fuel, and a ring of dwarf planets orbiting the sun inhabited by hostile leprechauns that were the result of a failed ad campaign. your voice will be heard and your creation will come to life in... THE SPRAWL I'm realy excited and want to get this off the ground asap, so feel free to post questions or concerns!

I'm fine with Skype. &nbsp; I've played some Apocalypse World, largely Dungeon World. &nbsp;Had a go at the Veil which was... interesting. &nbsp;I have an idea for a character for the Sprawl, hopefully you get more interest. &nbsp;

Please note that I am also down for a Dungeon world campaign! :D

Would you mind explaining this to me, what's a sprawl game? I'm only famaliar with 5E.

The Sprawl is a missions based cyberpunk game run using the Apocalypse World System created for the game&nbsp; Apocalypse World

In the sprawl, you play as scoundrels who take missions for money. A sprawl game will forst consit of our players creating the universe that they will play in, including multiple megacorperations that will play a major role in the game. Play will consist of our characters getting missions from unscrupulous characters, then doing legwork so that the legwork goes smoothly, and then preforming the tasks required by the mission. missions can be anything from assassinations to retrieving a package to exploring a planet. your characters will use their strength, wits, charm, and, of course, cyber-ware to complete the mission. During play, the megacorperations may take notice of you, or even take violent action against our characters. Its a lot of fun and you get to play as a bunch of space badasses.

I haven't played this one yet, but it sounds awesome, and a lot like the Dungeon World game mechanics.&nbsp; I'm also a huge fan of cyberpunk. Do you know what days and times you'd be playing?&nbsp; I'm available mainly Sun-Thursday after 10:00 pm EST.&nbsp;
