Howdy-ho beautiful randomers! Feeling bored? Have some free time? Well you could potentially have just stumbled upon something that might alleviate those afflictions! Hi, my name is Seán - a charming young Irishman who is fairly new to Pathfinder (this doesn't mean I'm not good! (err... I hope not)- I just won't be all that familiar with stats). I am currently hosting a wonderful (debate-ably) Pathfinder game. Two players (who I still love dearly ♥) sadly found themselves caught up with other things, and the campaign's style wasn't fully to their liking. So they upped and left, leaving me with a massive void in my campaign, and my heart! "Why mightn't one like this campaign?" I hear you clamor. Well, it's mostly up to the players to make their adventure. You're often not led down any story path and this can see you doing a lot of seemingly random and pointless things in the world and as a result, the world doing some pretty random things to you! Of course, almost none of the random pointless stuff is forced- it's all as a consequence of what you choose to do. A multitude of opportunities for mayhem or heroism will be presented and it's up to you whether to take them or ignore them. In this stage of the campaign, the main story is not very pressing and thus you are allowed to wander about, taking in the world - building relationships and influence. Burn down a town? why not. Build a mighty guild out of angry peasants? sure. Murder a rich noble? if the opportunity presents itself! Everything you do could affect you at a later date. Be mindful of who you piss off! Humor and silliness is rarely forced, although a sizable dose of it always seems to find it's way into the sessions despite the fairly dark and gruesome world! It is simply one, fairly expansive landmass to wander about in and do as you will to influence the grand scheme of things. And at the moment the grand scheme of things sees you- a band of hired adventurers- on a grand quest to build a boat and explore an ominous looking iceberg far to the north, on the other side of a dangerous frigid wasteland called "The Cold". All under the quiet, submissive lead of your trusty and awkward employer Oswauld, who is very much intrigued by the stories of evils dwelling in the aforementioned berg. Who knows what secrets, terrors or pleasures you might unearth there, and how it'll affect the two civilizations dwelling in the vicinity! And how it'll affect you... Characters are currently just after hitting level 7 (we started at 6). Pretty much any sort of character is welcome... it's a 15pts buy. You'd be starting with say... 18000 gold. Games start every Saturday at 17:00 GMT+1 and go on for... as long as everyone wants really. I haven't a time limit on Saturdays! We say 3-4 hours but it usually goes up to 6. We aren't particularly far into the game and I'd love one or two people to drop in and experience this wild world, if anybody is interested.
