One of my players is on an iPad, and she sometimes gets a bug with map layering. Drawings in the map layer will randomly change their stacking order. Pictures seem to stack okay. As near as I can tell it's drawing objects,
geometric shapes, and possibly text that sometimes forget their
layer/level/depth. As an example: If I draw a big green box, and later put a somewhat smaller grey circle on top of part of it, she may or may not see them in that order. Instead, sometimes, the large box will end up in front of the smaller circle, completely hiding it. Sometimes this happens in the middle of a session, after previously
displaying correctly. No one else in the group has this problem, and
she's the only one using an iPad. I think it's happening when she looks
at a different page in another tab in safari and then switches back, or
else when she's changing between safari/roll20 and another app and then
back again. Possibly both. Basically, if she goes to look something up
in a rulebook or a google search, when she returns she sometimes finds
maps to be out of sequence. If it's a subtle change or happens in an
area concealed by Fog of War,
it's possible we can play for quite a while before realizing she's
missing important map details.
