Hey all, The Guild is once more looking for new players, and we are doing an ALL-WEEKEND GAMING MARATHON for Roll20Con! Background info: We're doing D&D 4e with new characters starting at level 5. We are a come-when-you-can game for all players in all time zones, where you can show up to any session that you have a character for that you can make it to. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like or as your schedule allows. The campaign has 19 DMs and usually has between 80 and 120 active players who attend games with variable frequency. Characters in the Guild range from mid-heroic (level 5) to early epic (level 21). Each player can have multiple characters, so if you're a person who likes to try out all sorts of new stuff in RPGs, this is the place for you! Attending players roll off at the beginning of a session to see who gets to play. PRESENTS! Now that I have your attention, if you don't know 4e or any tabletop game, that's no problem! We will help you learn the rules, make your character sheet, and teach you the magicks of roll20 to get you set up in no time. We've been running the Guild for about three years and have a whole bunch of books, help threads, video tutorials, map packs, token creators, compendia, you name it, all to streamline the process and make it super easy for you to start role-playing ASAP! We also have a very active community with whom you brainstorm ideas, talk about games (both the Guild and other games you're interested in), and just generally hang out. (Side note: 4e gets a lot of crap from people who don't know what they're talking about. If you haven't picked it up ever because of that, give it a try yourself! Maybe you'll grow to love it as we do! :-D What have you got to lose?) Games! Here's a look at what our sessions look like so far for this week. Our plan for Roll20CON is to run sessions as close to non-stop as we can, for a variety of players at a variety of levels with a variety of DMs. If you want to be sure you'll be all set-up to go for our abundant games this upcoming week and weekend, join now ! (Adventure Levels give the approximate level of the PCs playing that session, so an AL 8 usually would be played by level 7-9 PCs) Upcoming Session Summary: Monday, June 19th, 1 PM EDT, 7 PM CEST - Gary AL6/8 or 14/16. Bumping for great justice.
I feel that it is kinda glorious that your post omits a couple of games and it already seems like insanity. But new people are welcome to join the insanity!
Last chance to get in and build your characters before the Roll20CON bonanza this weekend! Lots of opportunities to play D&D with a variety of DMs and characters!
