Ok, so I'm a new member to roll20, and this is the first Wiki that I have decided to become an active participant in. While I do have a very basic knowledge of C++ programming, I 1) don't know whether the Wiki format uses C++ (I'm pretty sure it doesn't?) and 2) don't know how to edit/add/format information even if it does (VERY basic C++). So, here's the issue: I don't have a tablet, so I can't speak for the information that can be found on the roll20 apps' Compendium(s) (though I assume it's the same as the website's), but I noticed that the "Backgrounds by Name" page for the 5th Edition Compendium only references the "Acolyte" background (and accompanying feature(s) and suggested characteristics- i.e., Personality Traits, Ideals, Bonds, and Flaws). Searching for the additional backgrounds also turns up no results (except for the background "Noble", however it only directs you to the page for the Noble NPC). To add to my dismay, I have been unable to find a way to contact the Dev team directly, nor have I found any way to send a request to the Dev team, with the closest available option being the "Suggestions and Ideas" forum. However, as I am a brand new member, I have no votes to cast and, therefore, no capacity to post a new topic to the aforementioned forum page. On top of this, I am unsure if it is even the Dev team that tackles these types of issues. My request is that somebody knowledgeable in Wiki formatting create the pages to complete the "Backgrounds by Name" section of the Compendium (which I do understand is A LOT of time and effort), or provide a basic overview of the programming it would take to add/link/edit the necessary pages and information, so that I may do this myself. I would also appreciate any links to reputable instructional videos that would assist with the creation of these pages (if such a thing is permitted by the CoC AND TaC). Should neither of these options prove to be achievable, I would also accept a method (link or otherwise) to bring these issues to the attention of someone(s) capable and/or responsible for resolving them. Bonus: If a page could also be created for the sole purpose of aiding in the customization of backgrounds, which provided an extensive list of all suggested characteristics, as well as the variations of those characteristics (e.g., the Ideal "Tradition" under the Acolyte background as opposed to "Tradition" under the Entertainer background) without tying them to a specific background, I believe it could prove an excellent tool for DMs and players alike.
