[LFG][5e/Pathfinder][EST] New to Tabletop, New to D20 Looking to get my feet wet

Hello, I've had bunches of friends talk to me about how much they love to play DnD or Pathfinder... and they never invite me to their games! I've been wanting to get into the games for years now but never have because doing it online seems daunting and getting a group together is frustrating apparently. I've finally caved and am now online looking at this tool! I have made an account several years ago to see how this worked, which was why I said this seemed daunting!  The two systems that I've heard the most about are Pathfinder and DnD 5e. To be perfectly honest, Pathfinder seems slightly more fun with the amount of home-brew that can be allowed into campaigns,  but both systems are lovely in their own right and I've seen just as many things in 5e that I wanna try out real bad like a blade pact warlock mwahaha. I'm currently at my free-est after 4pm EST, but will soon be switching to night shift within 2-3 weeks and my free-time may change depending on my sleep schedule. I'm open to any and all forms of communication from Skype to Discord. Please get to me ASAP so I can start learning!
Hi there! I just ran a beginner-friendly Pathfinder one-shot module this past Sunday that went pretty well (though we didn't finish it in one session and so it might end up turning into a two- or three-shot instead). I was thinking about running the same module again on a weekday for a brand new group since I already have everything set up in Roll20 for it, and I know there's one or two other people who just posted here who are also looking to try a beginner-friendly game. The module itself is designed for Level 1 characters who are assumed to be brand new adventurers going through a coming-of-age ceremony for the town that they live in. I'd be up for scheduling the game for next Wednesday (August 9th) since that day seems like the best fit for a few different people who have posted here in LFG looking for beginner-friendly games. Since I work 8-to-5ish weekdays, I'd be able to start around 5PM Central / 6PM Eastern and run it for up to 5-6 hours if people can stay that long. If that sounds like something you're interested in joining or if you have any questions, feel free to respond here or send me a PM!
