In the Games menu at the top, when it opens it shows images for my recent games, but the 1st slot is always taken by the tutorial. I don't need it for anything any more, so how can I hide/disable it?

The fastest way is to click the tutorial, then click the settings part at the very bottom, then click next until it contratulates you and askes you to exit the game.
