I am looking to start a group for some espionage modern roleplaying. I have 3 different premises. 1) We will play the Classified retro-clone of the venerable James Bond 007 RPG playing the world of the new Daniel Craig movies. This would be only 1-2 people as players. We would take turns as to who gets to play Bond and take turns as to who gets to GM. You can read up on Classified here: Classified RPG review . This selection would emphasize a single to maybe 2 operatives that are extremely broadly skilled taking on solo missions. OR 2) An IMF Mission Impossible style game set in the modern world where each player portrays a specialized skilled operative that is part of a team that works together to pull off missions that are thought to be impossible or extremely difficult in regards to success. Operative selection and skill packages will be of utmost import and the players will really have to work as a team to succeed. This selection would need between 4-6 players for the team. Covert Ops review OR 3) A special forces group of operatives similar to SEAL Team 6 that goes on clandestine missions throughout the world, operating in secret and consisting of operatives from U.S. allied countries. This would be very similar in concept to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. This campaign would likely be played using the fore-mentioned Covert-Ops RPG. --I will provide all materials necessary for learning whichever game and selection we choose. I will also aid the players in learning the system. Both these systems are intuitive and easy to learn, mimicking the espionage genre beautifully. Day of the week and time will be chosen once we see how many people we get and what their availability is like. Any interest? Which selection do you prefer?
