How to display images of Moons

I am working on setting up a Dragonlance campaign and I want to display the moons all the time, or have them easily show up. Is there a way to use Shift Z to display more than one image at a time? Can I make a macro that replicates Shift Z and automatically grabs a token of the moons?  Or multiple tokens? Each moon will have 8 images so I am trying to avoid having to make more than 16 jpgs.

Have you thought about creating a  rollable table with tokens and having the tokens sitting on you map pages?

You could have a macro that just places the images in the chat. If you had access to the API (a Pro Subscriber Perk), it could be handled with a script.

A simple solution might be to use chat messages with emojis. ๐ŸŒ‘ ๐ŸŒ’ ๐ŸŒ“ ๐ŸŒ” ๐ŸŒ• ๐ŸŒ– ๐ŸŒ— ๐ŸŒ˜ You would need a label to distinguish which moon is which, of course.

Ah, apparently they show up in chat, but not on the forums.

Will depend on the client.  Some OS's won't render it.  But you can definitely do the same thing with images that WILL always show up.

Hmm, I should've refreshed. That looks ok. Sort of better than mine... Edit: I forgot to link the script :) <a href="https://gist.github.com/Bastlifa/a910903e96fdc25ee" rel="nofollow">https://gist.github.com/Bastlifa/a910903e96fdc25ee</a>... Anyways, I made something here, mostly because I play in a Dragonlance game, and maybe my GM will use it. I'll link to an imgur album for the moon shapes. I'm not sure if anything is broken, did a little testing. You'll need to be pro/have api access for this. First, the imgur album:&nbsp; <a href="http://imgur.com/a/eQV8r" rel="nofollow">http://imgur.com/a/eQV8r</a> Now, the way it works is, you make three rollable tables, with this exact spelling (or change the script): SolinariPhases, LunitariPhases, NuitariPhases. In each of these tables, you create 8 table items, with these names: FM, XC, NC, LQ, 1Q, NG, XG, NM, corresponding to the images from the album (which you need to upload and put as the table item's image). You also need to create a character named MoonTracker. In this character, add the attributes Solinari, Lunitari, Nuitari. Set the values based on your current play situation. Refer to the script which has arrays for the moons phases. Remember that 0 is the first element in the array, so, for example, if you put 0 in the Lunitari attribute, your Lunitari would be in phase HS-XG, or High Sanction, Waxing Gibbous. Then you make 2-3 macros for ease of use: MoonReport with body:&nbsp;!DLMoonReport MoonAdvance with body&nbsp;!DLMoonAdvance and optionally MoonAdvanceX with body !DLMoonAdvance ?{advance this many days} I had Nuitari whisper to the GM, since only black robed mages can see it. If you have such a mage, change the report line to whisper to that player, instead of the GM. Here's a picture. Not so pretty:
First, ugh, I should not post before drinking coffee.&nbsp; The thread title is horrible.&nbsp; Thanks everyone, you've given me a lot to think about. I had planned on making a Rollable table, but the issue was making all of the images.&nbsp; Unfortunately, I want to include the time the moons rise and set as part of the display.&nbsp; Maybe I can just make that text and keep it simpler.&nbsp; Then the only issue would be making the combinations for high sanction and the night of the eye.&nbsp;
