5e Character Sheet Attack Button Problems

     I've made many characters in D&D's 5e pdf files supplied on roll20, but I've had trouble with custom buttons (attacks, spells and tools) that act as a macro remain completely blank, and make no action or roll when clicked on. This has happened in both games where I am a player, and where I have GM privileges. Oddly enough, having a friend toggle the "proficiency" modifier for an attack makes the button visible and complete the action put in. This button, while usable, cannot be changed should a modifier change. While I know I can have my friend toggle all of the attacks, spells and tools for every single character sheet, it's a bit much to ask.

Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs.
