Simple (But Long) Question about Custom Macro dice possiblities.

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to roll20 but I'm picking things up pretty quickly, so please bear with me. I want to use the roll20 system to play-test my own game and it involves rolling damage from a fixed range. For example, The damage on a Laser Gun deals 11 - 15 damage. (It can deal 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15 points of damage). I know I could type in "/r 1d5" but I don't know if within the Macro I could assign 1 to be 11, 2 to be 12, etc. If that is not a possibility, is there a RNG system where I could directly type in the range of possibilities? (Like in M.S. Excel "=RANDBETWEEN(11,15)") Thanks for the help guys!

You could probably use: /roll 1d5+10 for that particular range.  Not sure of what other ranges you may have, but you could find a commonality withing the range to set up the roll.  For 11-15, it was easy, because if you subtract 10 from each number, you get 1-5 - and any roll "range" that begins with 1 is easy.  Then again, if you had something like 16-21 for a range, you could go with: /roll 1d6+15

You could also use a table for each weapon damage range, you might end up with a few tables though depending on how many damage ranges you need but it should do what you are looking for. You can check out specifics here:&nbsp; <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Collections#Rollable_Tables" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Collections#Rollable_Tables</a>
I appreciate the tip, and I will probably just end up doing that, but I also heard of something called an API. I am not very tech savvy at all -it's a miracle I can handle this to be honest- but is the API worth looking into and how to use if it could give me a direct range? Thanks, that tip is quite helpful!

If you are ok using javascript then the API is great. Otherwise the options that MSG and&nbsp; Yggdrasil proposed &nbsp; will work well without having to code. If you need further help let us know. <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/API:Introduction" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/API:Introduction</a> A note on the API. It is only available for Pro subscribers.
All right guys Thanks so much, the Table option is Awesome! No further Assistance required!
