roll20 keeps freezing in game

We are using chrome but on multiple games it keeps freezing and becoming unresponsive. we have restarted computers and browsers however it isnt working. please help

I had to download Firefox on Saturday but it was quick and painless. It has an annoying habit of flashing when moving objects around but it'll do as a temporary solution. The one player who couldn't install Firefox (work laptop) disabled Video and Voice and no longer received the freezing. We use Discord for audio so that option worked ok for us.
