[LFG] Star Wars (Any System)

Looking for a Star Wars group to play with; I'm familiar with Saga (I played in a Star Wars MUSH that used the Saga system until it crashed hard and never recovered), but haven't played in a few years. Willing to try out/learn the new system, though! Just be patient with me as I learn; I'm definitely a learn-by-doer. I'm a relaxed player that loves character-driven games with plot. I love roleplaying, and when I get really into it, you can count on me to do stuff like character journal entries, detailed biographical information, character art, etc. I'm also very familiar with Star Wars, though more old EU than new EU (though I've read a few of the new EU comics / books).  I prefer games that use some form of audio communication; I've played in a few Roll20 games in the past that didn't use audio, and often times, players got distracted, and nothing really got done. I'm not opposed to using text, though, as long as everyone is engaged during the game session. I'm generally available after 5 PM PST Monday and Tuesday and all day Sunday. Happy to play in a one-shot adventure, or an ongoing campaign. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel to shoot me a message. 

Hi, there. My Star Wars FFG game has effectively been on hold for over a month at this point, and apparently will be for the foreseeable future; having just seen the new movie, well, I'm kinda jonesing for another fix, myself. I'm pretty much going to ditto all of the above--even the times are perfect for my schedule--with the addition that, when the party doesn't end a session in mid-gunfight or something, I also like to occasionally do some one-on-one forum RP with other PCs in between games. Don't get me wrong, yelling numbers back and forth is also fun, but the roleplay is what I'm really into, and the more, the better. I'm up for playing whatever a party might need, but if it helps, I've got a couple of character ideas lying around already, including a combat medic and a tech who used to work for an Imperial surveillance operation. So yeah, if you have any luck finding a group and need another guy, feel free to yell. ;-)

I don't think I mentioned it in my post, but I love doing in-between RP (when it makes sense), too! :) I think we'd be super compatible as players! I will let you know if I find another group -- or decide to run one myself. There's a very small chance that I'll run a game (much) later in 2018. I'm committed to running a short adventure every-other-week for our Saturday 5e game because one of our DMs dropped and Tomb of Annihilation on Thursdays every-other-week after that, but if I find that I can handle running two games concurrently every other week, it's a definite possibility.

I have been looking for a Star wars game myself for a few months. Sadly they have been getting full very quickly or been very incompatible with my schedule. Personally I would say I prefer character RP to combat but a blaster shootout now and then is fun too. I usually prefer games that are less of the epic struggles between good and evil and deal more with the shades of grey in between.  I also enjoy the between session RP that was mentioned before.

Anyone looking for a bunch of roleplayers to run for, because we'd definitely be a good fit for your game. :)
