Payment Issues

Greetings. I recently had the good fortune of receiving a R20 Pro subscription as a gift, along with a good deal of money to spend on marketplace items. Unfortunately, It appears that I need to enter my credit card details to purchase anything from the marketplace. Is there any way to buy items with gifted money, or is that only for extending one's subscription? (Apologies if this question is stupid and the topic is trash, I rarely post on the forums.)

Currently, gifted amounts can only be used for your subscription. One can buy specific packs or modules and gift them, but there is no Roll20 "gift card" for content yet. See the gifting info here: https://marketplace.roll20.net/gift/

Oh. That's... really disappointing. Thank you for the answer, nonetheless. I don't suppose such a feature is in production?

Gifted credit is only for subscriptions at this time, meaning you cannot use your credit to purchase anything on the Marketplace. Roll20's Marketplace is a place for the community artists and licensed partners to sell their work. As such, the payment systems for the Marketplace and Roll20 subscriptions are separate. For more information or help, please contact the devs directly at Team@Roll20.net As the rest of this will be handled over email, this thread will now be closed.
