Dynamic Lighting Freehand Bug + Suggestion

Hi everyone, first of all I want to say that english isn't my first language so dont be too critic on the orthograph. I'm writting this bug report/suggestion post today to first of all say that there is an issue with the drawing tool and the Dynamic Lighting Layer. When on the Dynamic Lighting layer, you can't select the freehand drawing tool. HOWEVER, you can select the freehand drawing tool from the token layer and click directly on the layer selection menu to go on the Dynamic Lighting layer to have access to the freehand drawing tool on the Dynamic Layer menu. This doesn't work if you select any other option from the menu like the arrow. Steps : 1) Go on the token layer. 2) Select Freehand Drawing. 3) Click on the layer menu and select the Dynamic Lighting layer. And I'm reporting this bug with a little deception because I loved using this, so I sincerely hope that you guys just had the freehand drawing option directly on the dynamic lighting layer. Here are some pictures of the bug I'm talking about (I hope it works) : Step 1 : Step 2 : Step 3 : Proof you can't select it normally : Also, I've been making maps for a good time now and I think it would be pretty nice to be able to move the selected item/items with the keyboard arrows for more precision because using the mouse isn't always the best. I hope my bug report was helpfull today. Can't wait to see your feedback, RunningTime45 / Altecore

Yep, the freehand drawing tool was removed from the dynamic lighting layer because DL lines made with it are extremely resource intensive. Use of the freehand tool via the method you describe is heavily discouraged. As for you suggestion, this is already possible. Selecting an object and hitting an arrow key will move it that direction by one grid square (if you have the grid on). Hold down the alt key to move the item a pixel at a time.
The lighting layer is suggested to use the polygon tool to draw lines but i am sure you already know this. https://wiki.roll20.net/Dynamic_Lighting
Thanks for the tip Scott C. I will use it for sure. And I know it's ressource intensive, that's the main reason why I'm reporting it. I just think they took it off without realising it could still be accessed that way ... Or they knew it was possible, they just made it hard to find so less people would use it, but I don't think that's the case. Anyway, if they didn't know it, good, more optimisation and if they did know it, well I still learned that I could use arrow keys. Thanks :D RunningTime45 / Altecore
